Diagnostic T-15 Thermometer

The Diagnostic T-15 electronic thermometer provides fast and accurate body temperature measurements.

The device is designed to measure the body temperature of children and adults. This electronic thermometer is a medical device for measuring body temperature under the arm, in the mouth, and rectally.

Warnings:

  • Choking hazard: The cap and battery may cause choking if swallowed. Do not allow children to use this device without parental supervision.
  • Do not place the thermometer in the ear. The device is intended for use in the mouth, rectum, and under the arm.
  • Do not expose the thermometer’s battery to very high temperatures, as this may cause an explosion.
  • It is recommended to have the device inspected every 2 years (Diagnosis Service).
  • Remove the battery from the device if the thermometer will not be used for an extended period.
  • Using temperature readings for self-diagnosis is dangerous. Consult a doctor to interpret the results. Self-diagnosis may lead to a worsening of the patient’s current condition.
  • Do not take measurements when the thermometer is wet, as the results may be inaccurate.
  • Do not bite the thermometer. Doing so may damage the device.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the thermometer. Doing so may result in inaccurate readings.
  • Disinfect the thermometer after each use, especially if it is used by more than one person.
  • Do not force the thermometer into the rectum. Stop inserting it and discontinue the measurement if you feel pain. Otherwise, injury may result.
  • Do not use the thermometer in the mouth immediately after using it in the rectum.
  • For children 2 years of age and younger, do not use the thermometer orally.
  • If the thermometer has been stored at temperatures below 5 °C or above 40 °C, allow the device to acclimate to room temperature (5–40 °C) for approximately 15 minutes before taking a measurement.
  • The electronic thermometer provides fast and highly accurate body temperature measurements for people of all ages. Possible measurement methods: under the arm, in the mouth, and rectally. The product is reusable and can be used in both home and clinical settings.
