The ISTEL Cardic-100BT blood pressure monitor is a fully automatic medical device designed to measure blood pressure and heart rate on the upper arm. The device can detect an irregular heart rate. The blood pressure monitor uses the oscillometric measurement method. This means that the device detects blood flow in the brachial artery and converts it into a digital reading. The device is designed for self-monitoring of blood pressure at home. It ensures very high measurement accuracy and has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible.
The blood pressure monitor features Bluetooth functionality, which allows measurements to be sent to the dedicated, free ISTEL HEALTH app installed on a mobile device (smartphone or tablet).
The ISTEL CARDIC-100 BT works with the modern ISTEL CARE telemedicine system, which enables simple and secure sharing of results with a doctor or carer.
